Why The Girls Craft Club Was Founded

The Girls Craft Club was founded by Gabriella Pacitti - a lifelong lover of arts, crafts, and meaningful connection. From a young age, Gabriella found joy in creativity—spending lunch breaks painting at her desk and later going on to study Art & Design at Edinburgh College, before graduating in Art History from the University of Edinburgh.

Her creative path took her through launching two online businesses spanning 10 years. Along the way, she worked as a jewellery teacher, a gemstone specialist at a renowned diamond retailer, and supported people with additional support needs to engage in arts and crafts including textiles, painting, pottery and more. Today, she continues to support women’s creativity through her work as a social media coordinator for a women-led jewellery brand.

In May 2025, having just turned 30, Gabriella felt the need to reconnect with her friends and her creative roots. Using leftover materials from her businesses, she invited her closest friends to an evening of socialising and crafting. It was intimate, fun, and fulfilling—a night full of laughter, intimacy, support, and the cutest handmade jewellery.

That evening sparked something bigger:
What if this simple idea became a regular way for women to gather, try something new, and make space for themselves and each other?

And just like that, The Girls Craft Club was born—a space for creativity, connection and community. A place where women support women, where crafts are fun and beginner-friendly, and where quality time together matters.
