Terms & Conditions – Girls Craft Club (GCC)

Welcome to Girls Craft Club! We want every member to feel safe, respected, and supported in our community. These Terms & Conditions set out how our club works, so everyone knows what to expect. By becoming a member or attending our events, you agree to the following:

1. Membership

  • Membership is open to women only and provides access to discounted event tickets, special offers, and other benefits.

  • You can cancel your membership at any time, but fees already paid are non-refundable.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or cancel memberships if these Terms & Conditions are breached.

2. Events & Tickets

  • Event tickets are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed. Please notify as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.

  • Discounted tickets marked “GCC Members” are valid only for active members. If purchased without a valid membership, they will be cancelled and a voucher sent to you for you to rebook the proper ticket. Your place will not be reserved until you book again.

  • Tickets are allowed to be transferred if you unable to attend etc. unless otherwise stated. Please notify the workshop leader or organiser in advance.

  • We may occasionally need to change, reschedule, or cancel events. Where possible, we will offer an alternative date/time/event or full refund.

3. Behaviour & Community Standards

  • GCC is an inclusive, respectful, and creative space. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behaviour in person or on our socials.

  • Members and guests are expected to respect others, as well as the venues and materials provided.

  • Failure to follow these standards may result in removal from an event and/or termination of membership.

4. Late Arrival + Cancellation

  • We totally understand that life happens and sometimes you might run a little late — it happens to all of us! If you know you’re running behind, please message us on Instagram or the GCC WhatsApp to let us know roughly when you’ll arrive.

  • Some events run on a set schedule or take place in venues where we can’t hold spaces for long / may disrupt the event. While we always try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, we can’t always guarantee your spot if you arrive late.

  • If lateness results in a no-show or we’re unable to hold your place, tickets are non-refundable.

4. Safety + Liability

  • We do our best to provide a safe environment, but participation in activities is at your own risk.

  • Please use craft tools and materials responsibly and follow any safety instructions given.

  • GCC is not responsible for loss of personal belongings at events.

  • We are not liable for events outside of our reasonable control (e.g. venue closures, unforeseen cancellations).

6. Payments

  • All payments (membership and tickets) must be made through our approved payment systems (Stripe/PayPal/Ticket Tailor).

7. Photography & Content

  • We may take photos or videos at events to share on our website, newsletters, or social media. If you do not consent to your photo / video being taken, lease make this understood to workshop leaders - everyone has the right to opt out, and we will respect this!

  • Workshop content, materials, and designs remain the intellectual property of GCC or its facilitators and must not be copied or redistributed without permission.

8. Termination of Membership

We may suspend or cancel memberships without refund if:

  • A member repeatedly breaches community standards.

  • Membership or ticket purchases are misused (e.g. using member discounts without a valid membership).

9. Complaints & Claims Policy

  • If you ever have a concern, issue, or something didn’t meet your expectations, please let us know as soon as you can

  • To help us handle things fairly and efficiently, all complaints or claims must be made within 7 days of the event date.
    After this timeframe, we may not be able to review or resolve the issue properly. We truly appreciate you reaching out — your feedback helps us keep improving our events and making GCC a safe, creative, and joyful space for everyone

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Members will be notified of significant changes.
