Terms & Conditions – Girls Craft Club (GCC)

Welcome to Girls Craft Club! We want every member to feel safe, respected, and supported in our community. These Terms & Conditions set out how our club works, so everyone knows what to expect. By becoming a member or attending our events, you agree to the following:

1. Membership

  • Membership is open to women only and provides access to discounted event tickets, special offers, and other benefits.

  • You can cancel your membership at any time, but fees already paid are non-refundable.

  • We reserve the right to suspend or cancel memberships if these Terms & Conditions are breached.

2. Events & Tickets

  • Event tickets are non-refundable.

  • Discounted tickets marked “GCC Members” are valid only for active members. If purchased without a valid membership, they will be cancelled and your place will no longer be reserved.

  • Tickets are generally non-transferable unless otherwise stated.

  • We may occasionally need to change, reschedule, or cancel events. Where possible, we will offer an alternative date/time/event or full refund.

3. Behaviour & Community Standards

  • GCC is an inclusive, respectful, and creative space. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behaviour.

  • Members and guests are expected to respect others, as well as the venues and materials provided.

  • Failure to follow these standards may result in removal from an event and/or termination of membership.

4. Safety & Liability

  • We do our best to provide a safe environment, but participation in activities is at your own risk.

  • Please use craft tools and materials responsibly and follow any safety instructions given.

  • GCC is not responsible for loss of personal belongings at events.

  • We are not liable for events outside of our reasonable control (e.g. venue closures, unforeseen cancellations).

5. Payments

  • All payments (membership and tickets) must be made through our approved payment systems (Stripe/PayPal/Ticket Tailor).

6. Photography & Content

  • We may take photos or videos at events to share on our website, newsletters, or social media. Consent will always be requested in advance.

  • Workshop content, materials, and designs remain the intellectual property of GCC or its facilitators and must not be copied or redistributed without permission.

7. Termination of Membership

We may suspend or cancel memberships without refund if:

  • A member repeatedly breaches community standards.

  • Membership or ticket purchases are misused (e.g. using member discounts without a valid membership).

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Members will be notified of significant changes.
