Join Girls Craft Club for a mindful evening of botanical drawing inspired by the upcoming book Rewild Your Drawing by artist and illustrator Marta Glowacka-Siebor (@muiri_).
Designed to help you reconnect with the natural world through creativity, Rewild Your Drawing explores beautiful botanicals, mindful observation, and simple illustration techniques that encourage drawing as a calming practice rather than a pursuit of perfection.
We will meet at the East Gate Shop and Cafe before exploring the Botanics. Together we'll spend the evening surrounded by nature, creating our own botanical illustrations using an exclusive drawing project taken from the book. Whether you're completely new to drawing or already enjoy creative hobbies, this workshop is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and beginner-friendly.
Each attendee will receive a copy of Rewild Your Drawing, project tutorial and all required materials to create their artwork during the session and take home afterwards. We'll also share a video introduction and some special tips from Marta created just for the event.

After we may head up to JUBILEE GARDENS (where the Sunday local stalls and market is) and have a browse of the local stalls and food markets - possibly grab a bite to eat. PICK & PRESS DECAL DECORATING WITH BLOOMING CREATIVE
At this workshop, you’ll get to design your own personalised piece - perfect for everyday wear or as a thoughtful handmade gift.
Jessica will bring along her collection of almost 200 hand-drawn decals, with themes including nature, holidays, weddings, food & drinks, travel, animals, plus letters and numbers in both large and small sizes. Take your time browsing, mixing and matching designs to create something that feels totally you.
You’ll be able to choose between a cotton T-shirt or long-sleeve jumper, available in sizes S, M, L and XL, and select up to 30 decals for your design. Whether you prefer something minimal or a bold, playful layout, there’s plenty of room to get creative.
Once you’ve chosen your decals and decided on your placement, you’ll head over to the heat press station, where you can have Jessica professionally press your design for a high-quality finish — or, if you fancy giving it a go yourself, you’ll be able to try using the heat press too! Jessica will be on hand to guide you through the process and make sure you feel confident.
No experience needed — just come along, get inspired, and enjoy a cosy, creative atmosphere. As always, you’ll have guidance throughout, so you can feel confident bringing your idea to life.

Join us for a calm and refreshing outdoor yoga session at Inverleith Park, led by certified instructor and fellow GCC girl, Amelia where we will all meet at MILK COFFEE SHACK before walking to the perfect spot together✨
This one-hour class is the perfect chance to slow down, stretch, and reset in a peaceful park setting — surrounded by fresh air and good energy. Whether you’re a total beginner or a regular yogi, everyone is welcome.
Please bring your own mat and anything else you need to feel comfortable - for example an extra layer incase of a change of weather, grippy socks, or a water bottle to stay hydrated! 💛
As this is an outdoor session, it will be weather dependent - keep an eye on our page for any last-minute updates.

If you fancy it, just bring along a book you’ve loved (or one you’re ready to part with), chat about your favourites, swap recommendations, and leave with something new to read. PICK & PRESS DECAL DECORATING WITH BLOOMING CREATIVE
We’ll be hosting this cosy workshop at Confelicity — a beautiful, family-owned gluten-free café and bakery in Bruntsfield, known for its wonderful coffee and delicious homemade cakes and bread. It’s the perfect warm and welcoming setting to get creative together.
At this workshop, you’ll get to design your own personalised piece by choosing between a sturdy large tote bag, a cap, or a zipper pouch — perfect for everyday use or as a thoughtful handmade gift.
Jessica will bring along her collection of over 100 hand-drawn decals, so you can take your time browsing, mixing, and matching designs to create something that feels totally you. Whether you prefer something minimal or a bold, playful layout, there’s plenty of room to get creative.
Once you’ve chosen your design and placement, Jessica will professionally heat press your decals onto your item, ensuring a high-quality finish that lasts.
No experience needed — just come along, get inspired, and enjoy a cosy, creative atmosphere. As always, you’ll have guidance throughout, so you can feel confident bringing your idea to life.
