✨ GCC Castle Getaway – Alnwick, Feb 9–13 ✨
Join us for a dreamy winter escape to a grand Victorian castle in Alnwick! Expect cosy fires, hot tub soaks, cocktails, crafts, shared meals and plenty of girl time. ITENERARY:
A dreamy winter escape filled with calm, connection, and cosy castle moments. Here’s a little peek at what to expect during our girls’ getaway! 💕
🗓️ Monday 9th – Arrival Day
We’ll travel together by train between 2–4pm (direct journey, around 1 hour).
You can also choose to meet us at the castle — check-in is from 5pm onwards.
The train is affordable, especially with a railcard!
Once we arrive, we’ll get settled, unwind, and enjoy a relaxed welcome dinner together.
The castle is close to a supermarket for any extra bits you might need.
🌸 Tuesday 10th – Chill & Craft Evening
A slow, relaxing morning — enjoy the grounds, hot tub, sauna, or explore the nearby town.
In the evening, take part in a special GCC craft session (completely optional, but full of fun!).
Drinks, chats, and a cosy night in by the fire to end the day.
🛍️ Wednesday 11th – Newcastle Day Trip
We’ll head out for a day trip to Newcastle — enjoy food, shopping, and city vibes!
You can travel with the group or spend the day your own way.
We’ll meet again at the station or back at the castle in the evening for a relaxed night in.
Travel and day-trip expenses are at your own cost.
💖 Thursday 12th – Full Relaxation Day
A day to do exactly what you want.
Lounge in the hot tub, take a walk, craft, read, nap — it’s your day to fully unwind.
Galentines themed evening drinks and dinner and together before our final night in the castle.
🚆 Friday 13th – Departure
Check-out by 10am.
We’ll catch the train back together and be in Edinburgh by around 1pm.
✨ A calm, girly, feel-good escape — filled with creativity, warmth, and laughter.

To secure your spot on the getaway, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining 50% balance will be due one month later.
Please note that deposits are non-refundable, in line with the booking conditions of the accommodation — so once you’ve reserved your place, it’s officially yours! ✨

We have a mix of double and single beds across the bedrooms in the castle. You’ll be sharing a room with another girl unless you choose to pay a little extra for a private room.
Once everyone’s signed up, we’ll create a WhatsApp group so you can chat, get to know each other, and decide who you’d like to room with. From there, bedrooms will be assigned. Ticket prices will reflect the type of room and sleeping option you choose.
It’s all super relaxed — the perfect chance to make new friends or bunk up with your favourite GCC girl! ✨

Your ticket covers your castle accommodation, a bottle of wine per girl for the 4 days, and five delicious shared meals throughout the stay — plus, of course, all the cosy vibes and great company that come with a GCC getaway! 💕
Please note that travel to and from the castle (including the train) is at your own expense. The train is direct and affordable — especially if you have a railcard for discounted fares. If you’d prefer to arrive later or leave earlier, that’s totally up to you!
Any personal spending money (like for shopping or the Newcastle trip) and extra activities will also be at your own cost.
A goodie bag just for you is also included in your ticket - an extra little gift from us to you as a thank you!
